The geometry of Ace trucks is designed to maximize their turning radius and allow the hanger to return to center following turns. Barrel-shaped bottom bushings are used for stability, which means this design is intended to maximize turning. The lightweight materials give an effecient feeling. A slight shortening of the wheelbase (1/4 inch shorter than the wheelbase of an industry standard truck) allows for sharper turns.
